PEPENA

Pepena is an acoustic Pop / Folk group formed in 2010 in Tahiti. It was built thanks to four young Polynesians, accomplices in life as in music: Raimana Bareille (singer, guitarist), Ruahere Chebret (lead guitarist), Jean-Charles Amiot (bassist) and Teiki Curet (percussionist).

The group offers, beyond their covers of well-known songs, compositions with local, French-speaking and international influences which have charmed the Polynesian public, even in the islands.

Rich in their diversity of writing in Tahitian, French and English, the four artists infuse their style with the warmth and gentleness of life of the Pacific, whether in rock, blues or even reggae.
